Free Capacity Building for Trans-Led Nonprofits and Small Businesses
A. Santiago Consulting provides grant writing, nonprofit startup support, strategic planning, and business consulting at no cost to trans-led nonprofits and small businesses.
I accept up to 25 new clients per quarter. Applications are reviewed as they come in.
What Is Included

Full grant submission packages, from funder research through narrative, budget, and attachments. Fundraising plans that fit your actual capacity, individual giving strategy, and the case for support you need before any of it works. (Up to 5 grants)

Incorporation, bylaws, EIN, Form 1023 or 1023-EZ, state charitable registration, and the founding documents that determine whether funders can move money to you at all. If you are already incorporated, we clean up what is missing.

Multi-year strategic plans, logic models, theories of change, and program design that connects what you do to what you can measure. Built to be usable internally, not just to satisfy a funder.

Board recruitment, orientation, and governance structure. Financial controls, conflict of interest policy, personnel policy, and the operational documents auditors and funders ask for.

Introductions to foundations, corporate giving programs, and community partners actively funding this work. Warm introductions where I have the relationship, targeted funder lists where I do not.

For trans-led small businesses: business planning, operations, pricing, and growth strategy. Same standard of work, adapted for a for-profit structure.
